The proposed amendment is generally described as follows:

Statement of Purpose
The purpose of this amendment is to replace the interim bylaw adopted on June 17, 2010 with a permanent zoning bylaw. The permanent zoning bylaw clarifies the manner in which challenges may be made to any finding by the Zoning Administrator that protected soils are or are not present on a project site.

Geographic Areas Affected
The entire Town of Weathersfield is affected by this amendment.

Sections Headings
Section 6.10.7, Agricultural Zoning, is the only section affected by this proposed amendment. The "Weathersfield, VT, Farmland Conversion Impact Rating" worksheet is proposed as an Appendix to the Weathersfield Zoning Bylaws as part of this proposed amendment.

Copies of the full text of the proposed amendment, including the Impact Rating worksheet and the Planning Commission Report, is available for review at the Weathersfield Town Office and the Weathersfield Proctor Library in Ascutney, Vermont.

Persons wishing to be heard may do so in person, be represented by an agent, or may file written comments with the Board prior to the hearing.
