Approval of Minutes: Meetings of May 23, 2011

Michael Todd made a motion to accept the minutes of May 23, 2011 with corrections.
Alan Hudson 2nd the motion. All were unanimous to approve the minutes as corrected

Review Meeting Agenda- additions, corrections

Public Hearings:
A. Final Plat- Proposed amendment to Final Plat #04.2006 on Plains Road to relocate the house site on Lot#2 (filed by Gary and Christine Bullard)

Michael Todd made a motion to continue the hearing to August 8, 2011 at 7:00 PM. With notice to be included that this will be the last continuance. Alan Hudson 2nd the motion. All were unanimous

Discussions:

A. Zoning Bylaw Revisions:
1) Section 6.10.1 Stream bank conservation, discuss final draft language of the bylaw, define Streams, Development set backs and stream crossings
2) Section 6.5 Nonconforming structures, discuss final draft language of the bylaw including language that defines additions to nonconforming structures.
3) Wireless Communications Facilities, There are changes in the Statute. The Zoning Administrator will create a draft that incorporates these changes for the Commission to review.
4) Interested Persons/Hearings/Procedures, Discuss the process and language and request a legal opinion from VLCT
5) Home business discussion begins; identify scope of discussion that will follow. How to change current language, what to keep, how to combine sections for ease. Performance standards, size, effect, etc...
