 Well, now we have a new President and he has given us a challenge: However you can, get involved with a service activity.I can think of no better way to begin than to come to the potluck dinner next week and then get involved with the Veterans Memorial Committee. It's low stress and informal, but the Committee is having an impact. Most recently with support of deployed troops and children living in a combat zone. Please come! And if you would, please give me a reply so I know how much soda/coffee to prepare. Thanks, Chip Cobb You're Invited(Note Time Change)Please join the Weathersfield Veterans Memorial Committee at our first meeting of 2009. This will be a special meeting beginning with a potluck dinner. Please bring a dish of your choice to share (dessert and beverage will be provided). This will be a great time to get re-acquainted (or in some cases acquainted) with the volunteers in our community that are working to honor the Veterans from Weathersfield. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 27th at Martin Memorial Hall. The dinner will begin at 6:00 PM with the meeting starting promptly at 7:00 PM.
