Pursuant to Title 24, Section 2501 and Title 19, Chapter 7 of the Vermont Statutes Annotated, the Select Board for the Town of Weathersfield, Vermont will conduct a public hearing at 6:30 PM on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the Hawks Mountain Grange, 53 Old Center Street, in Perkinsville to inspect the Perkinsville Green and to receive testimony from interested persons on whether the public good, necessity, and convenience of the inhabitants of the municipality require a public park to be laid out on the Perkinsville Green for the purpose of erecting a soldiers' monument. The Public Hearing will begin with a site inspection of the Perkinsville Green at 6:30 PM, immediately after which the Select Board will reconvene in the Hawks Mountain Grange to receive testimony. Persons wishing to comment or give evidence regarding this proposal may do so in person during the hearing, or by filing their comments, in writing, prior to the hearing. Persons wishing to review the documents pertaining to this proposal may do so at the Weathersfield Town Offices, Martin Memorial Hall, 5259 Route 5, Ascutney, Vermont.
