Prioritized List of Weathersfield Select Board Goals, 2011-2012 (adopted 4/19/11)
1. Perkinsville School • Perkinsville School: Develop plan for reuse of the school • Perkinsville School: Purchase from School District by July 1
2. Personnel • Update Personnel Policies • Develop a Drug Testing Policy for "safety sensitive positions" in the Highway Department and two fire departments • Review "total compensation" (wages and benefits) of employees • Develop job descriptions for all town employee positions
3. Public Utilities • Continue with the Ascutney Water Project • Conduct planning for water and wastewater facilities to serve Ascutney
4. Policing • Develop options for policing services in the "post Chief Brown era"
5. Town Facilities • Implement changes to the way materials are handled at Transfer Station • Apply for amendment to Act 250 Permit to allow new extraction phases at Bow sand pit • Plan for expansion of the cemetery space available for burials
6. Select Board administration • Develop a process whereby Select Board members may be contacted by the public through the Town's web site • Provide better directions to the Select Board's various subcommittees • Update the "Citizen Complaint Policy and Procedure"
