NOTICE Effective September 1st, 2011, Transfer Station stickers will no longer be distributed at the Transfer Station.  The new stickers, 2011-2012, were inserted into Weathersfield property owners' tax bills. Should you need a sticker for other dwellings or for vehicles you may own, these will be available for purchase at the town office for $5.00 each.  Our hours are Monday - Thursday from 7:30AM through 5:30PM. What will happen if you show up at the Transfer Station after September 1st and do not have a valid 2011-2012 sticker? ●    You will still be able to recycle those items we accept free of charge (cans, bottles, paper, cardboard, scrap metal, etc..) ●    You will still be able to dispose of your household trash and other solid waste, but you will be charged double for anything discarded, (thus, your punch card will be double punched by the staff member at the Transfer Station). ●    In the alternative, you can hold on to part or all of your solid waste until you have obtained a 2011-2012 sticker. < Prev   Next >
