Notice of Public Hearing
Regarding Drumlin Road

Pursuant to the requirements of Title 19, Chapter 7, of the Vermont Statutes Annotated, the Select Board for the Town of Weathersfield, Vermont, will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, starting at 7:00 o'clock, P.M., at the West Weathersfield Fire Department at 7259 Route 131 in Perkinsville, Vermont, for the following purposes:

(A) receive public comment relative to the laying out of a Class 3 Town Highway from the junction of the road known as Drumlin Road and Maple Street (TH #25) to the turnaround in the gravel pit that is approximately 2156 feet from Maple Street as shown on Rapanotti survey no. 04-594, dated Sept. 8, 2004 and which is on file in the Weathersfield Town Office.

(B) receive public comment relative to the simultaneous discontinuance of the ancient road (TH #119) described in Volume 3, Page 321 of the Weathersfield Town Proceedings.

The hearing will be preceded with a viewing of the roadway at 6:30PM, starting at the junction of Drumlin Road and Maple Street.

Persons wishing to review the documents pertaining to this proposal may do so at the Weathersfield Town Offices, in Ascutney.

Persons wishing to comment or give evidence regarding the proposal may do so in person during the hearing, or by filing their comments, in writing, prior to the hearing.

This hearing is before the Town of Weathersfield Select Board at the above time and place.
