The new Town Plans and new Zoning Bylaws, complete with color maps, are available for purchase at the Town Offices. Price for either is $8.00
Now that the building season is here you may want to add on to your house or build that tool shed you've been thinking about. You may get a zoning permit anytime the Town Office is open or call the town Office and give us your name and address and we will send you one. If you are not sure if you will need a permit please call the office with your questions.
If you want to subdivide your land or start a new business it can take a while to get the needed permits. Call for an appointment, and set up a schedule for your project review.

To determine the cost for your zoning permit add the base fee to the square footage fee. To determine the square footage fee multiply the length times the width, then multiply your answer by .05 cents.
When considering an application, the Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Adjustment may retain expert professional assistance at the applicant's expense.
The fee structure is set by the Selectboard.
Adopted by the Weathersfield Selectboard May 15, 2003.

This site provides information for planning commissions, zoning boards, development review boards, zoning administrators, and their staff.
The Vermont Council on Rural Development is pleased to announce a new website for its statewide project: www.futureofvermont.org" target="_blank">Council on the Future of Vermont
The Council on the Future of Vermont is seeking to learn about Vermont from Vermonters. For one year, CFV will take public input on the values, concerns and aspirations of people throughout the state, and, in 2009, will present a comprehensive assessment of its findings.
The website is one way for Vermonters to contribute their ideas and to learn what others think via an online survey, discussion questions, forum notes, and a calendar of events. |
